ShuleTop

School software for Junior School and Senior School

The CBE transition means many schools now run Junior School, Senior School pathways and the last 8-4-4 forms at the same time. ShuleTop handles all of them in one account, each with the right subjects, grading and report forms.

Junior School: Grades 7, 8 and 9

Senior School: Grades 10, 11 and 12

Form 3 and Form 4 alongside

While the last 8-4-4 classes finish, Form 3 and Form 4 keep the KCSE grades A to E and points 12 to 1, automatically, on their own report forms and mark lists — in the same school as your Grade classes.

One timetable that respects every level

Make the Junior School timetable, the Senior School timetable and the Form 3 and 4 timetable separately if you like. ShuleTop keeps every shared teacher free wherever they already teach, so a Chemistry teacher with Grade 10 at 10 o’clock is never also given Form 3 at 10 o’clock. See the timetable generator.

Frequently asked questions

Can one school run Grade 10 and Form 3 and 4 at the same time?

Yes. Grade classes use the CBE performance levels and Form 3 and Form 4 automatically use KCSE grades, each with the right report form, in the same school account.

Are the Senior School pathways set up?

Yes. Subjects for STEM, Social Sciences, and Arts and Sports Science are loaded for Grades 10 to 12, including core subjects like Core and Essential Mathematics. You can edit the list to match what your school offers.

Does it support KJSEA and KPSEA?

You can run KPSEA and KJSEA practice exams as an exam type, with the same marks entry, report forms and analysis as other exams.

Can a teacher teach both Junior and Senior School?

Yes. Teachers can be assigned to any class, and the timetable makes sure a teacher shared between levels is never booked in two places at once.
